Privacy policy: Information obligation under article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation

We as provider of website www.elfriede-fuhrmann.de pay high attention on protecting personal data of people visiting the website. We treat personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation.

This privacy policy explains the nature, the scope and the purpose of the collection, storage and processing of personal data related to visitors and users (in following collectively referred to as "user") by Winery Elfriede Fuhrmann, proprietress Elfriede Fuhrmann, Hauptstraße 17, 56821 Ellenz, Germany (in following “provider”) as person responsible for data protection according to article 4 section 7 of the General Data Protection Regulation. Personal data such as name, address, e-mail-address or telephone number are collected, stored and processed based on articles 6 section 1a, section 1b and section 1f of the General Data Protection Regulation with the purpose of executing the contract and for the protection of legitimate interests. The provider deletes personal data as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purpose of the processing and legal storage periods do not oppose.

Data collection when using our website

The provider of the website collects and stores information in so-called server log files. Log files are required for data exchange on the web. From this files conclusions can be drawn on the websites called by the user and the user himself. Data shown in log files is in detail:
- Name of website visited (URL) by user
- Name and size of files from website visited by user
- Date and time when user accessed website
- Confirmation of successful connection to provider’s server
- User's browser type and browser version
- User's operating system
- Referrer URL
- User's IP-address
The provider uses data from log files without assignment to the person of the user or other profiling according to article 6 section 1 p. 1 lit. f General Data Protection Regulation only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and stability of the website.

The provider reserves the right to check the data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of an illegal use of offer on base of concrete indications.

The provider has established a processor contract with the contractor for web-hosting in purpose of article 28 General Data Protection Regulation which governs the handling of personal data.

Collection and usage of personal data

In the initiation, closure, execution and back execution of a purchase or service contract, personal data of the user is collected, stored and processed by the provider. The user can enter data on websites contact and wine-delivery by postal service (and the complementary rubrics in the respective national languages) in form fields or in an informal e-mail with the aim of the personal correspondence with the provider electronically sent to the provider.

Personal data will not be forwarded to third parties without the explicit agreement by the user. Exceptions to this are named service partner of the provider and higher-level regulatory, law enforcement or financial authorities. Personal data of the user is forwarded to service partners of the provider to process ordering, delivery and payment of offered wine-delivery by postal service (service partners of the provider are, for example, the shipping company responsible for the delivery and the bank responsible for the payment transaction). In these cases personal data transferred to service partners is limited to the minimum required.

The provider has taken organizational, contractual and technical security measures to ensure that the regulations of data protection laws are applicated and accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access of unauthorized persons to personal data is prevented.

Information, deletion, blocking

Based on articles 15 - 18 and 20 - 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation, the user has at any time the right, upon request and free of charge, to receive information about user’s personal data stored at the provider, it’s origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing. In addition the user has the right upon request, to let correct, delete and limit the processing of the data stored by the provider, if no legal storage requirements are in conflict with it. In addition user has a right to provide an objection to the processing of personal data and a right on the data portability of the personal data stored at the provider.

The user has at any time the right to withdraw his agreement to the processing of personal data based on article 6 section 1a General Data Protection Regulation by the provider, without affecting the lawfulness processing based on the agreement before the withdrawal. To apply this right, the user can contact the provider under the communication channels specified on the page legal notice.

Based on article 77 section 1 of the General Data Protection Regulation the user has the right to complain about the processing of personal data by the provider at a data protection supervisory: County Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom on Information Rheinland-Pfalz, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, Germany.

Changes to privacy policy

The provider reserves the right to change the privacy policy in order to adapt it to a changed legal situation or to changes in services and / or processes of data collection, storage and processing.
