Vineyard Rüberberger Domherrenberg

The vineyard Rüberberger Domherrenberg begins at the edge of Poltersdorf and extends at left river bank until the opposite of Mesenich. The partially terraced slope has its main orientation to the south. The orientation to the sun is improved by the slope. The wine location offers ideal conditions for the cultivation of high-quality Riesling-wines with predicates such as Spätlese, Auslese and Beerenauslese.

To get known to the vineyard Rüberberger Domherrenberg, we recommend a hiking-trip over the Felsenweg Rüberberg, a segment of the hiking path Erlebnis Moselkrampen: Following the wine-teaching path you get to the entrance where the challeging segment of the trail starts: This place is called Bahnhof Nachtigall. Along the trail, called rocky path, hikers can have wonderful view to the valley. The descent to the parking Rüberberg is made on the hiking path called Cochemer Peetsche. Arrived at the parking, hikers can comfortably return to the starting point on the cycle and walking path. If you prefer cycling, you can take a bike ride from Ellenz to Senhals and continue via Senheim, Mesenich, Briedern and Beilstein back to Ellenz (crossing by ferry).
